Chinese doctors, nurses, and medical support staff are currently in great danger treating patients infected with the Corona virus. Recently, I was told by relatives and friends in China about the severe shortages in medical supplies, especially surgical masks and other forms of protective clothing, in the Shaoxing Hospital in my hometown.

Citizens are almost entirely confined to their homes, not only due to the fear of the deadly and highly contagious corona virus, but also due to the strict rules imposed by the Chinese government. Students are unable to go to school, even though their college entrance examinations are in June. Medical staff, especially in Wuhan, are currently fighting fearlessly on the front line. Many doctors and medical workers from all over the country are racing to save patients. They are in dire need of medical supplies and equipment. We are   eager to help the doctors and medical workers who are fighting on the front line. To do so, we will be delivering funds and needed supplies to the Shaoxing People’s Hospital.
