Medical shots for growth hormone therapy

Hi, I’m fundraising for my son, Charlie. He is 16 but looks 12. He has a very low growth hormone level but it was “just enough” to not be medically necessary. His insurance started providing the daily shots and he went from 4’10 to 5’ in 3 months. He was thrilled and his self-confidence grew. Now they refuse anymore. It is $1,000/month and we can’t do that. It breaks my heart and he feels defeated. He tried to apply for a job and they laughed at him saying he was too young. I was standing there and told him his age, but his confidence was shattered. He wants to drive like his friends but can’t see over the wheel without a booster. Again, his confidence was shattered. He has been through so much in his life. His birth family was abusive and he was removed by CPS. He had 2 failed foster homes before we got him and his sister. The trauma he had to endure would break most adults. He has tried so hard to overcome it all. He still needs therapy but he is doing great. If you can help us get the monthly shots he needs, we would be eternally grateful. I want so much for him to succeed in life and have good self-esteem. Everything help. Thank you!
