All donations will support our upcoming trip to Haiti to provide free medical services to the communities of Jersualem and Pignon through a clinic and orphanage that have been established by Community Emplowerment. This year, a multi-disciplinary team of 12 volunteers (medical, engineering, and technology backgrounds) will be building a playground and providing health care to the orphanage. The local orphanage houses approximately 60 children who tragically lost their families in the 2010 earthquake.
The trip is organized through Community Empowerment (CE), a non-for-profit that works in underserved communities with local leadership to provide essential health care, while creating a self-sustaining system in which they are no longer needed. CE has been working with the Haitian community since the earthquake in 2010

Donations will be applied to logistics, supplies, playground materials, and infrastructure.
