Hello my name is Jazmere Stephens the mother of Tyren Thompson that was shot Sunday August 20,2023 at Lane Field in Akron Ohio. He has been through 2 different surgeries and still have many more to go through. This was very unexpected and it has took a big toll on me and my family. I have 2 other kids to be strong for and take care of plus my rent, utilities, food and many more other expenses. I will be in the hospital for a couple months do not have a time frame of how long. This is a hard pill on myself seeing my son with cords around his head, chest opened, tubes down his throat just seeing my son like this breaks me down every day. I want to thank everyone for their prayers and support while I am going through this hard time mentally emotionally, physically I just know I have to be strong for him and his sisters.
