Medical Relief Funds- USF Project World Health

Hi everyone!

My name is Kristie Labib, and I a medical student at USF Morsani College of Medicine. I have been fortunate to be a part of USF Project World Health, an organization that provides healthcare, medical and hygienic supplies, and resources to rural/disadvantaged countries around the world, such as Nicaragua, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and many more.

This year, a team of USF Health students and I are traveling to a town called Jarabacoa in the Dominican Republic to provide medical aid and supplies, as they may be easily available to us in the U.S but are not always available in those remote communities. As we live in a country that values preventative healthcare, we wish to utilize our privilege to help those communities who are in need of our support!

As a result, we are desperately looking for donations to help support our cause. We will be using your donations to purchase medications (allergy medications, vitamins, pain medications), medical supplies (bandaids, walkers, gauze, syringes, gloves etc.), and basic hygienic supplies (toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, shampoo, etc.) Any small contribution will go a very long way for in our mission to take care of these communities!

I previously went to the Dominican Republic in 2019 for a medical service trip, and I personally saw the immense impact of our donations on these populations. It is truly a blessing to see what we can do as a community to make a difference on our world. As a result, I kindly ask for your support on our mission!
