Medical Relief Fund for Kelli Liedal

Hello, my name is Ian McClain; I am the general manager at Cantoros Trattoria and I, along with our other managers Favra Terrasi and Victor Padilla we are raising funds for one of our beloved team members, Kelli Leidal.

Early in the month of January, Kelli suffered a terrible seizure during dinner service in my restaurant. The seizure led to her suffering a pretty traumatic fall where she hit her head, and seized for several minutes. Kelli had to be removed by EMS from the restaurant and taken to the hospital for medical treatment where she was kept overnight and then released the following day after a long series of tests. At this current point in time, Kelli is looking at a minimum of 3, but up to as long as 6 months out of work and for anyone familiar with the service industry 6 months off work can be seriously detrimental to their finances and ability to survive especially in todays economy. Kelli requested to file workmen's comp paperwork, and the paperwork was filed incorrectly so it could be quite some time before that is resolved and she sees any kind of payment from that so things have not been going her way all across the board unfortunately. Kelli is an incredibly kind and caring person, our guests here truly love her and our staff does too; we hate to see her in this position and hope that guests, friends, family, and the entire Cantoro community will consider donating to this fundraiser and helping Kelli's cause.

The hopes of this fundraiser are to raise $10,000 to donate directly to Kelli to pay toward her medical bills as those were quite staggering, help pay her monthly bills as she will have no source of income, and most importantly provide some relief and security in a time where so many things have seemed to work against her. Understandably, January can be a tough time of the year financially for anyone, so if you can't donate, consider sharing this with others to try and find any help for her that might be out there, while also praying for Kelli and a swift recovery.
