I am Angie, and I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt request to help our dear friend, Michael Hicks, and his family. Michael has recently been diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer, a very aggressive form that demands immediate treatment. This life-threatening cancer has since been found in his esophagus and stomach and has moved to his head, liver, lymph nodes and pelvis area. The diagnosis has come as a shock to all of us, and we are determined to support Michael and his family through this challenging time.

Michael’s condition has rendered him unable to work, which has placed a significant financial burden on his family. Medical bills, treatments, and daily expenses are mounting, and they need our help now more than ever. Your contributions will directly assist with the costs of his medical care and provide much-needed relief to his family for other necessities during this arduous journey.

About Michael Hicks

Michael and his wife Cheryl are set to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary this year, a milestone that highlights the strength and unity of their relationship. They are proud parents to two wonderful sons: Matt, who is 17, and Ryan, who is 15. The Hicks family is rooted in faith and community, being active members of the First Baptist Church, through which they volunteer their time to helping build ramps for disabled people, food drives, visiting nursing homes and other areas.

Michael Hicks is not only a loving husband and father but also a proud veteran. He served as Sgt. Hicks in the U.S. Army, specializing as a 74 Delta-Chemical Specialist. His service included deployment to Kosovo from 2005 to 2006. Michael enlisted in 1993 and served honorably until his discharge in 2007, dedicating 14 years of his life to our nation's military. His commitment and bravery are qualities that we deeply respect and honor.
