My name is Dr. Julieta Arguelles-Hernandez, I am a physician and the founder of LATIMGS Foundation.
I was born and raised in Veracruz, Mexico, and today, my heart aches for my home.
The small town of Tempoal, Veracruz, in the north of the state, has been devastated by historic floods. Entire neighborhoods remain underwater. Families have lost everything — their homes, food, and even loved ones. People are still missing.
Children and dogs wander displaced, hungry, and scared.
Many communities have not received any help yet. They’ve been left behind, and we cannot allow them to be forgotten.
Through LATIMGS Foundation, we’re launching “LATIMGS por Veracruz: Health & Binational Help” — a humanitarian and medical response to bring food, clean water, medical aid, and basic essentials to Tempoal and nearby towns.
I will personally travel to Veracruz to deliver what we collect and to coordinate relief efforts on the ground, alongside local and international volunteers.
As a physician, I know how urgent access to medical care is after disasters like this.
We are also calling on medical volunteers — doctors, nurses, EMTs, and medical students — who would like to travel to Tempoal to provide on-site medical support and first aid to affected families.
Your donation will help us:
Provide clean water and food to isolated families
Deliver medical kits, hygiene supplies, and essential medications
Support medical brigades and volunteers offering urgent care
Fund transportation and logistics to reach remote communities
Even a small act of kindness can restore hope.
From across borders, we can come together to heal, to serve, and to show that compassion has no boundaries.
Veracruz nos dio raíces. Hoy, nos toca devolver esperanza.
Veracruz gave us roots. Today, we return hope.
