Hello Friends,

I chose this photo of Anni because it reflects her radiant spirit, kind heart and the love she shares so freely with others (plus her love of data).

Recently, Anni was in a very serious paragliding accident that left her with multiple spinal fractures and a partially compressed spinal cord. She was flown to Annecy for emergency surgery and intensive care, and while she continues to face challenges, her courage and determination remain unwavering.

Although Anni had several insurances in place, none have yet covered her medical expenses, and she is now seeking legal guidance. In the meantime, she is carrying significant costs for surgery, transport, and rehabilitation.

Anni is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, visits, and prayers, and for the fact that she has been able to cover her immediate needs through her own savings.

Her recovery journey will take several months, including medical transfer back to Germany and ongoing rehabilitation. For those who wish to help and have been looking for a way to support Anni during this time, we’ve created this fund.
