We are reaching out to our community during an incredibly difficult time for Gurmail Kaur a resilient 79-year-old mother who has recently been hit by an overwhelming wave of hardship. Just last month, she faced every parent's worst nightmare when her beloved son tragically passed away. Amidst this deep grief, her physical health took a severe turn, leading to major thigh surgery. She is currently admitted to the hospital, bravely fighting to recover. Gurmail's s deepest wish is to return home to India as soon as she is medically cleared, to find comfort among family and honor her son's memory. However, the mounting medical expenses and the cost of safe, assisted travel are financial hurdles she cannot face alone. We are raising funds to cover her ongoing hospital care, rehabilitation, and travel expenses so she can heal in peace and return home.
