Medical Procedure July 2022

My name is Debi. I am a mom of 3 miracle babies. I live in Maine, where I work as a traveling Hospice Aide. 

I have severe Endometriosis, which is a disease that “normally” attacks the reproductive system and is very painful. It also makes conceiving very difficult. After my youngest was born, via C-section, there was an error that occurred which caused the Endometriosis to spread outside of the “typical” areas. It is very aggressive and very painful. I have had multiple procedures to try and remove it over the years but they have never been 100% successful. Because of this, the Endometriosis has grown and spread. I now have one kidney that is dead and the other is dying as well. It has traveled to my bladder, colon, intestines, and all over my abdomen. Only an Endometriosis Specialist is willing to undertake the surgery I need to save my life. The specialist is in Georgia and is not covered by my insurance. In order to receive this surgery, I have to pay the total cost up front. That amount is $10,000.
