This was happening becasue the new disease I was diagnosed with (Vasculitis) in Oct of 2022 was shutting down all my major organs at the same time due to not getting my infusion Rituximab in time. My kidneys were also under seige so dialysis was happening simultaneously with the ventilator. A week later I woke up with the news of my current situation. My kidneys were damaged and M,W,F 4hr treatments, with 7 rounds of plasma, and Rituximab for the course of at least two years coupled with Prednisone as needed was the diagnosis to the road to recovery. Fast forward to now. No more dialysis needed (yay) however I still have high creatine numbers but not high enough for dialysis. My right lung is still healing so pain can be felt during laughing, coughing, and sneezing. I returned to work for obvious reasons (financial) to start knocking out debt that occured during my illness. This was a huge learning curve as walking, standing, going up stairs for the first 6 month were brutal on my body however very neccesary if I wanted a shot at becoming normal (physically) again. Despite me returning to the workforce I was not making enough soley beacuse I literally could not move physically long enough to hit my minimum finacial goals. I work for the gig economy. It has been really good to me for the last 7 years. I have been able acquire all the tools (vehicles) to do my job. I am a delivery driver for myself. I use bicycles (b4 my illness) motorcycles, and cars. Four months into my plight to knock out my debt my oldest car lost it's lower ball joint. I knew that was that going to happen but due to my circumstances I was forced to use it till it broke. So I switch to the Motorcycle then the clutch went out. No problem I used the other back up car a week later the transmission started slipping. Alas the family car was put into the work fleet big no no because eventually due the nature of deliveries any vehicle used will wear prematurely and will need maintenance. Well guess what it, the wheel hub wore out which seem to be the norm for Subaru. My mechanic had my 1st vehicle still and had not completed the suspension work to get it back on the road. So I tried the bicycle. Well I quickly found out that 20miles was the furthest I could go and required several days of recovery before I could ride again. That resulted in one month of lost wages. Which then triggered even more debt. I eventually was able to get the MC and two other vehicles back on the road. However by then I lost my home, and one vehicle needs major engine repair to get back on the road (radiator fluid is in the oil pan). So I have had to temporary relocate with family out of state away from my Doctors to try and catch up on bills. Which I was able to pay off my credit cards (thank God). In this demographic I make 60cents per mile vrs $2 per mile so my progress here is very slow. In order to return I need the a home and reliable vehicle(2018 or newer) to keep working and eventualy live a normal life. Which is why I'm here. I thought I can do this on my own.I was wrong I have now been humbled and will accept any help I can recieve. If that is you THANK YOU! -Andre
