Medical needs to bring Cheryl home

CHERYL SAID JUST TELL THE FACTS … five weeks ago Cheryl was at work, and was walking with one of the owners of the company in their warehouse. Water had got onto the floor, and apparently under one of the mats… when Cheryl stepped on the mat, it went out from under her, and she fell hard on the left side of her body onto the cement floor. She broke the ball socket in her left shoulder and the bone beneath her left knee pulled away and broke in three places. They had to put 10 screws and a plate in her knee to reattach it …she is left handed …it was three weeks before they assessed everything and scheduled surgery. They had to re-break her knee before surgery just another fact..My oldest daughter, KRISTYN and her husband have been taking care of Cheryl every day since 24/7…so grateful ….my autistic daughter Casidie had a meltdown and that’s putting it nicely when she found out her mom had to have surgery …she was afraid her mom was going to die in surgery and go to heaven without her and she told Cheryl that …she also asked CHERYL IF THEY WHERE EVER GOING TO LIVE TOGETHER AGAIN…so my other daughter Keeley has been letting Casidie live with her and the family the past few weeks.. so grateful ..Casidie 25 years old said to me yesterday dad I am not coming home until mom comes home.. so for the past five weeks I’ve been holding down the fort at the townhouse.. with Cheryl and Casidie‘s dogs. They are upside down without Cheryl and Casidie. The townhouse has three bedrooms upstairs with two baths and a shower… downstairs has a very small restroom no shower …the doctors took out the staples in Cheryl‘s leg this past Wednesday ..she cannot put any weight on her left leg for the next 12 weeks. They will start rehab and therapy in about a week and a half …three times a week for months. I will now become the caretaker of this beautiful woman and our daughter. We have looked at 1000 possible scenarios. Cheryl said to me today ..I just need to come home so Casidie can come home and I can be with the dogs. They really bring me a lot of peace …I said OK we will need to get some medical equipment and a few other modifications for Cheryl to live downstairs in the living room for the next 9+ months ..she has filed a claim with Workmen’s Comp. and they pay approximately 66% of your weekly pay. The doctors have told Cheryl she will be in rehab and therapy for 6 to 9 months and see how it goes from there. Cheryl said to me today I guess that career is over time to heal. Thank you for your prayers and support for me and my family. We are very grateful. A few friends asked if we would put up our story on go fund me….. thank you for your help. Our needs are for the deficit of Cheryl‘s income over the next 9+ months along with modifications to the townhouse that will enable her to live downstairs which includes medical assistant devices and transportation products, as well as sleeping facilities and renovations, to prepare a place for her to shower downstairs in the townhouse.
