MEDICAL NEEDS FOR THE "MISSISSIPPI 8"

Many of you followed their story right here on social media. We drove to Northern Mississippi to assist with the rescue of 8 "hunting dogs" most of them Bloodhounds and Bloodhound mixes.

 

They had been confiscated from a location that was something out of a horror movie, complete with skeletal remains of other dogs that did not get as lucky as the "Mississippi 8" But with that being said, the dogs that we did bring back to VRC are physically and very emotional damaged. With some of them, their physical and medical condition will probably heal faster than their mental state. They will be with us for awhile.

 

The funds raised from this GoFundMe, will be used to complete their medical (heartworm treatment), spay/neuter, etc. While we are going thru their treatment and we get to know their personalities more, we will begin lining up homes for them (some will probably need Bloodhound experienced people) while others just need a kind heart and someone with lots of patience.
