My name is Jodie Biggs and I am so blessed to call myself Nana of this little firecracker.

However it is with a very heavy heart that I make this request for help. Recently my 4 year old Granddaughter was a victim of sexual assault by an older child. This has created quite a bit of physical trauma including contracting lichen sclerosis from the bacteria on the other child’s hands. This will be a lifelong condition that is incurable. Flare ups can be treated but never eliminated. She may also face fertility issues from it.

She is her same happy self as she believes the other child was trying to tickle her but it hurt instead. But the more she sees doctors and therapists the more she starts to question what happened. She is currently in therapy including play therapy, occupational therapy and equestrian therapy.

She also needs extensive vaginal therapy from a pediatric gynecologist due to the extensive physical trauma. Unfortunately, this cost is not covered by any insurance, upwards of $30,000. She also needs aquatic therapy, also not covered by any insurance at a cost of approx. $2,000.

We, as a family, have reached out and received as much assistance as we could gather. We’ve pooled resources as needed but find ourselves short $15,000.
