Along with fellow Nurse Practitioner students and professors from the University of South Alabama, I am preparing for this upcoming medical mission trip with a deep sense of purpose. I am asking for your help and support so I can bring essential medical supplies and medications to those who need them most. Every contribution, no matter the size, will directly impact patient care and help meet critical health needs. Thank you for supporting me in this mission and for being a part of the care we are able to provide together.
I feel a strong pull to help those in need in places where access to health care is limited. This mission trip is an opportunity for me to step out of my comfort zone and serve communities who face daily challenges accessing basic medical care. As a Nurse Practitioner student, I am motivated by a desire to put compassion into action while growing as a clinician. This experience will allow me to see patients more holistically and appreciate the resilience of communities who face adversity with courage and hope.
I have paid for my trip out of my own funds, and 100% of all donations will go directly toward purchasing and bringing medications and medical supplies to those in need. These supplies will not only provide immediate relief but will also help the local clinic continue to offer care long after I return home. Working with limited resources and unfamiliar disease patterns will strengthen my skills and critical thinking, and I am eager to learn from both the patients and the dedicated healthcare providers I will be working alongside.
