Medical Mission Trip Peru March 2020

Hey Guys! My name is Jackie Harper and I’m a pharmacist with Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs. I will be traveling to the Amazon Basin in Peru with Centura Global Health Initiatives (GHI), for a 1-week service project in remote villages on the river near Iquitos at end of March!! Yes, I am ecstatic!
My role there as a pharmacist will be to help hike in supplies, set up a pharmacy and deliver much needed medications such as antiparasitics, antifungals, antibiotics, along with medications for skin, scalp and eye infections to those with very limited access to necessary treatment and where health care needs are great. Other projects include surgeries, medical camps, and community projects to support the healthcare delivery within local communities.
To make this trip feasible, I am asking you to consider giving a gifted donation toward my trip goal of $2650 by March 20th. This helps cover the cost of travel (airfare and boat), meals, translators and lodging as well as helps with cost of supplies we are bringing.
Any gift towards this cause is truly appreciated and extremely helpful!!
