Please help support our family medical mission team traveling El Hospitalito Atitlán, from March 23–27, 2026. Mario Hernandez (an internal medicine and pediatric doctor), his dad Edin Hernandez, Roy Cardoso, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery, and Mario Hernandez Sr. (Dentist) are grateful to be volunteering at El Hospitalito, a humble but life changing community hospital that brings much needed healthcare, hope, and compassion to the indigenous families around beautiful Lake Atitlán in Guatemala — many of whom have to travel hours for basic care and speak only their native language.
They'll be seeing patients at the hospital and in the surrounding communities. They'll offer dental services, preventive care, check-ups, help manage chronic illnesses like diabetes and high blood pressure, and Roy will be performing hand and upper extremity surgeries for many people who otherwise have no access to specialty care.
They believe everyone deserves health, dignity, and a chance to thrive. Your support will help them bring medications, supplies, and compassionate care to families who need it most. Thank you for joining in making a real difference in the lives of others!
