The Baker family is made up of Alli and Kellie. We are two moms living in sunny Orange County and going through IVF to grow our family.
We started trying for a baby in 2021. After months of fertility treatment, Kellie got pregnant with our first child, a girl named Charlie June. We were heartbroken to lose Charlie in December 2021.
After a second early pregnancy loss, Alli got pregnant with our third and youngest baby, Hudson Everett. In February, at five months gestation, Hudson was diagnosed with a lethal form of skeletal dysplasia. This rare diagnosis unfortunately lead to his heart-wrenching passing in early March of this year.
Despite the heartbreak and trauma we have lived through, Kellie and Alli feel more strongly than ever that we are called to be parents. We love each other and our lives despite the grief that will always be with us. We know our family is the perfect place for a child to grow up and be loved.
With this fundraiser, we hope to offset costs related to losing Hudson and future IVF treatment. These costs include medical expenses, cremation, further genetic testing, and more IVF. Unfortunately our health insurance covers none of these expenses.
Truly, we are blown away by the outpouring of love and generosity. We are surviving with the help of our beautiful community ♥️
