Medical Masks for Wuhan, China

The new coronavirus outbreak in China is rapidly evolving and spreading. At the time this message is written, it has infected 631, killed 17 and spread to neighbouring countries, with an estimate of 4000 people infected. The current novel coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan, China has been developing into one of the most serious public health incidents in the world after SARS in 2003.

Health professionals in Wuhan and across China are, at very high risk of their own life, fighting it in the frontline under limited resources. Major hospitals in Wuhan are requesting help from the community for various medical supplies. This has become a global emergency, and Wuhan needs YOUR HELP.

As a collective of Chinese students in Australia, we are starting this non-for-profit campaign fundraising for medical resources such as the N95 masks and surgical masks, to protect the health professionals as well as the public. We are currently contacting local hospitals/medical equipment suppliers to in order to fulfil the supply. All money raised from this campaign will be dedicated to the purchase of medical supplies and relevant logistics to fight this outbreak. These will be sent directly to Wuhan University Renmin Hospital and other major hospitals in Wuhan, the principal sites and cornerstone to fight the current outbreak.

此次所筹款项将全部用于购买医疗物资及支持相关后勤，以抗击这次疫情。所购物资将直接寄往武汉大学人民医院以及武汉其他主要医院，它们是抗击当前疫情的主要地点和基石。
