I've gone from an energetic, on-the-go, 2x Pro Athlete & Fitness Model, mother of 4 to now struggling to get through my days. 2 years ago my world changed drastically with being sick starting in Feb. 2019 and then an emergency surgery removing a ruptured silicone implant that Nov. that had been recalled for causing a rare lymphoma. Today I am still enduring drastic health issues as we discovered I have silicone in numerous lymph nodes in my right armpit and told it could cause me more harm than good to have it removed as there's quit a bit.

I am now fighting a rare autoimmune disease (lichen planopilaris/a derivative of lichen planus) ; one that effects less than 2% of the population, that has me shaving my head every few days as well as dealing with skin lesions at times and severe anxiety/PTSD; basically my body is attacking it's largest organ; the skin. I also have a lesion on my thyroid that's being monitored. I've been battling severe chronic fatigue, muscle weakness and pain, joint pain, tremors in legs and hands as well as severe brain fog and short term memory loss factors. I've been pushed around to various specialists as we are still trying to figure out what's causing the muscle issues and chronic fatigue which combined with my health issues and surgery in 2019 added up to lots of medical bills and future one's to come.

I recently was switched treatments as after 9 months we maxed out on the 1st major med of Doxy and I've now been put on immunosuppressant therapy called Cellcept. I am currently on 7 prescriptions as well as a couple to aid in side effects from the other ones. These range from anxiety to sleep to helping my scalp and other skin factors. This new treatment suppresses my immune system so I have to be even more careful in public settings as I can get even the common cold much easier and if severe a cold could put me in the hospital as well.

In light of all this I have lost about 90% of my income as working has become a challenge with every day being different and I'm unable to hold a regular job - I take lots of naps and some days I'm in bed nearly all day. As well as with the economy and some clients needed to make changes within their budget; combined I'm no longer able to provide for myself and my twins (2 of my 4 kids) that are still at home. I'll be making changes over the next few months to downsize and moving as my body is basically fighting itself daily and it's tired enough that it's become harder to manage my day to day on a regular.

I'm grateful to my community and all the help I've been given in the last 2-3 months with helping pay some of my bills and groceries and God has been with me through every step of the way! He's instilled humility in ways I never had and He's my source of strength and courage each and every hour of every day!
