My name is Jennica and I am Abigail Tucker’s sister and Landon Tucker’s sister in law. On the evening of 8/7 Landon and Abigail’s two and half year old son, my nephew Casen, was riding his bike and was tragically hit by a truck. They attempted a life flight but due to the lack of an available helicopter they continued down the freeway at a high speed to get him to the hospital. He was transferred to UC Davis overnight and now he is currently in level 4 ICU at Shriners childrens hospital in Sacramento, Ca. He will be at Shriners Childrens hospital for at least 6-8 weeks. Fortunately, by a miracle, his internal organs are in tact. However, he will be having multiple surgeries as well as skin graphts due to the severe damage done to his body and tissue. Abigail and Landon have three other boys - ages 7, 5, and 9 months - Casen’s brothers. We will be rallying together as a family to care for the other boys during the next couple months while Casen is getting the care he needs. The hospital is an hour away from their home and Landon and Abigail will most likely need funds to pay for hotel stays, as well as medical expenses as they come. They are truly devastated and spent as this is the hardest thing a parents can go through. If you feel inclined any donation helps.
