Russell Maroon Shoatz is battling stage four Colorectal Cancer.
His daily care is intense, three hour treatments, and he uses a microphone when speaking.
I cry, when I think of Maroon's release from the Pennsylvania Department Of Corrections.
Russell, Sharon, and myself have fought tirelessly for his freedom, never giving up on our dad.
Maroon endured a year of chemo, and three different chemo drugs. Cancer and chemo has altered his body, and damaged his brain. We're familiar with guy from the prison visiting room,
we really don't know this Maroon.
He won't be with us for long, he's losing weight, very grumpy, and unable to eat solid foods.
He's only able to digest sixteen ounces of fluid a day.
