Hello all,

I am the oldest daughter (out of 4 children) of Wally and Liz Nunez.

My dad has been diagnosed with Cirrhosis of the liver and is in need of a liver transplant. We have been absolutely distraught and overwhelmed since the news of his diagnosis. During this difficult time, as the oldest, I am trying my best to help with the care of my younger siblings while my mom is there for my dad.

We are in the process of getting my dad Wally medically transferred to Baylor Scott & White Liver Consultants of Ft. Worth Texas in which he doesn’t reside in. As they do not have the proper resources here in the Permian Basin to treat his condition, especially at the rapid rate it is progressing. 

We have been told by his doctors that the only hope for survival is a liver transplant. We have never wanted to ask for any financial help, but we now find ourselves with no other option. My dad and my mom are the soul care takers for their family and during this time, neither one of them have income coming in. So with that being said, this GoFundMe has been set up to help support my dads medical and personal care needs as he continues to fight in beating this life-threatening disease and receive a liver transplant.
