Medical help for Terry Negron

Hi my name is Leah. I’m fundraising for my wife, Terry Negron. She fell on July 28th and broke her femur bone, had an open fracture of her ankle and a crushed foot. They found out she has severe osteoporosis and 4 different doctors all agreed that they could not save her leg. On August 2nd the surgery team performed a mid-thigh amputation. The doctors also found out she has aortic stenosis which will also have to be taken care of once she starts healing from this operation.

Terry is going to have a long, hard road to recovery. There are many things that we will need to prepare for when she is finally able to come home. Insurance will pay for some, but not all of the necessities. I am recovering from a massive heart attack so we have a very limited income to try and get everything that she will need.

We currently have a small car which I won’t be able to transport her in so I’m looking for handicapped vans. The bathroom will have to be remodeled to be handicap accessible. Because of the osteoporosis she is not a viable candidate for a prosthetic leg. She will need a scooter, wheelchair, hospital bed, and many other things.

I am not someone who asks for help easily. As hard as this is I have to do what is best for her right now. Thank you for reading this and for any help that you can give us. Your help means the world to us and we will never be able to repay the kindness that has been shown to us through this process.
