Help with farewell celebration Philip Pius Duncan

Donation protected
I am writing to you today, to let you know about the loss of our dad Philip Pius Duncan, on Saturday June 29th, 2024, after a long and courageous battle during the pandemic and after with heart, lung diseases among other health complications. We (our Mom, sisters and 1 brother whom is the caregiver to both, grandkids, aunts and uncles) are devastated and grieving by our dearly beloved Dad's passing and we're not prepared for the costs for this part of bidding him farewell, since we lovingly continued the best we can, for his long-term care for these past 4 years.
The celebration of his life is on Saturday July 6th, 2024 in Region 9, Lethem, Guyana South America.
The service will be held at the St. Ignatius Church of Christ.
We wish to give our dearly beloved Dad, Philip the memorial he deserves to honor his precious memory.
I am humbly asking on behalf of my family for donations to help cover the costs of the celebration of life.
Please note this link is the original Fundraiser from 2020, please forgive me for not making a new one today, please consider donating, as any amount will truly help our family during this challenging and difficult time.
Thank you so very much for your generous time, prayers and donations.

My name is Valery Duncan, I'm humbly and urgently requesting financial donations on behalf of my Dad (77 years) Philip Duncan Snr. who lives in a little town in Guyana South America, (Bordering Brazil) who has been living with an enlarged heart for quite a number of years.

Unfortunately, the town Hospital has little or no resources and supplies and does not have the expertise nor equipment for diagnostic imaging and testing. We’re very thankful and appreciative of the services offered there, unfortunately, could not even provide an ECG/EKG. Because of this, we desperately need to transport my dad, the capital Georgetown, with a bus travelling overnight for almost 20 hours (unpaved road), to receive the urgently needed Cardiac Specialist care and the necessary surgery, we don’t know all the new complications that he now has among, loss of some vision and some mobility, since he suffered a stroke on Sunday September 13th, 2020 and unfortunately suffered another episode on Thursday September 17th, 2020.

There are restrictions for travel and our financial resources are very limited. Please allow us to ask for the financial help, we so desperately need. Since we are living in this pandemic, please know that we are very mindful that we are all going through this together, therefore my family and I are conscious of you and your family's needs as well, which is of the utmost importance. We ask that you please pray about our urgent cry for help and let the Lord lead you to donate whatever amount you are able to give. There is no amount too small... every penny gets us closer to getting my dad the urgent medical help he now needs.

We humbly offer our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for praying along with us as well. Peace and love to you and your loving family today and always.
