Medical help for Jim Tousignant
Jim Tousignant, also known as "Tousi" by many of his friends, has led a life that has touched so many people. Jim and his wife Michelle are both teachers. They have both spent many years giving back to the community by helping to educate and guide our young people. Jim has also devoted time, energy and money to many causes including: The Saint Baldric’s Foundation, Ronald McDonald House and The American Cancer Society. Most notably though, Jim spent years working with the Kilroys hockey organization to support the fight against ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), after a hockey teammate and close friend was diagnosed and eventually passed from the disease.
Ironically, now, Jim finds himself fighting the same terrible disease that took his good friend. Jim has been diagnosed with ALS. This disease is relentless. You can imagine what it must be like on a teacher's salary to have to deal with the financial challenges of this insidious disease. We're asking that you help us give back to a man who has given so much of himself to so many.
Please help us reach more people. Please share this fundraiser on your facebook page, tweet it out or even post it on LinkedIn. Give what you can, whether it's $5 or $500. Together we can help Jim and Michelle stand strong against the ravages of ALS.
Thanks in advance for your donation.
