Medical help for "Hannah Ruby"
Tax deductible
We need your support to help Hannah!
The cost we are looking at for her entire stay in the hospital, CT scan and surgery is $10,000.00
Hannah Ruby was born on 8/10/2022 and was brought home on 10/14/2022 to live and be trained as a future search K9 for Community United Effort (CUE) Center for Missing Persons. Last Wednesday, an issue arose, and she was brought to a veterinarian for another check-up; she had already been seen upon her initial arrival to North Carolina. Bloodwork, X-rays, and many other tests were run to discover she had a severe problem that needed medical attention as soon as possible. She was diagnosed out o the gate with puenmonia, anemia and a heart condition. Medication was prescribed, and instructions for her care with a follow-up visit to make a plan were scheduled.
Last night Hannah took a turn for the worst. She was in critical condition and admitted to the emergency animal hospital, where she is in an oxygen tent, IV fluid and medication with additional oral medications, and 24-hour care is being administered. Once they can get her free of pneumonia, they will need to do a CT scan of her heart, and from there, she will need surgery for correction. Her diagnoses so far; are Aspiration Pneumonia and Vascular Ring Aortic Arch Anomalies.
Hannah's update on 11/1/2022 is still critical but stable; we are hopeful she can pull through this and proceed to get the help she desperately needs for a full recovery. If you can help, every little bit will make a difference. Thank you!
