Medical Help for Baby Kai

Donation protected

On Thursday, December 8th baby Kai, just over one month old, was flown by medical helicopter to a Miami children's hospital and admitted into the Pediatric ICU. His mom Rhiannon flew out with him, and his dad Chris was followed closely behind in his car.

Many invasive diagnostic tests and labs are being run to determine the causes of his symptoms, but all of the test results are not yet known.

The Doctors in the Pediatric ICU have informed Rhiannon and Chris that with the severity of baby Kai's current state, they should anticipate being in the hospital through Christmas.

This is particularly hard for the Pecore family as this means Rhiannon must stay with the baby in the ICU, and Chris must make the 155 mile/ 3+ hour-long commute back and forth in order to continue working to provide for the family.

This is an incredibly scary and challenging time for them, and the last thing they need to worry about is finances, especially this close to Christmas ( and the high cost of gas from commuting such a distance).

Please share and help if you're able, no donation is too small to make a huge difference for the Pecore family while they navigate this terrifying ordeal 155 miles from home with their critically ill newborn baby.

All funds raised will go directly to the Pecore family to help ease the burden of Kai's lengthy hospitalization.

Thank you so much.
