Help Baby Aviel to continue his chemotherapy

Our great nephew, 2 year old Aviel Zachary was diagnosed with a brain tumor last week and requires urgent surgery.

Aviel started telling his parents that he had 'owie head' and began stumbling while walking.

His parents took him to the doctor, where a CT scan showed the tumor and encephalitis. Our whole family is devastated.

Aviel lives in the Philippines, where, unlike here, healthcare is not funded. Several people suggested that we set up a go fund me page for Aviel. We were hoping that we didn't need to.

My husband and I, as well as some family here, are helping, but the cost is expected to be something that we unfortunately cannot cover entirely.

Aviel has wonderful parents. His Daddy, Vergel works tirelessly for the family while his Mommy takes care of Aviel and the home.

Vergel has had to take time off work to take Aviel to his appointments and traveled to Manila to see another neurologist that he was referred to.

Aviel will have an MRI on Monday at Manila Hospital and is expected to have surgery shortly after.
