Medical Help for Arlene Kalita

Arlene was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer, a SUDDEN diagnosis that turned our lives upside down. Arlene has zealously lived a health-focused life. The gradual inability to eat/drink for a few weeks prompted her to go to the ER, finding this heavy devastating truth.

Arlene had found a treatment center in Arizona that offered her GREAT hope when the doctors in Oregon provided little. However, the treatment is costly, and insurance cannot cover it. ARLENE IS HOPEFUL FOR THIS TREATMENT TO WORK, AND SO ARE WE! This treatment is her light amongst the darkness. For Arlene’s family, she is a loving and devoted mother and grandma. She is a true salt of the earth soul who tirelessly devotes time to her family, friends and church. She is a gardener who loves sharing the fruits of her labor with the community. She has the support of her family and her faith in God in this journey.
