My beautiful sister Rebecca Danbom, was hit with the hardest, heart-wrenching news possible. She was diagnosed with rare cancer called Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma. This cancer affects less than 1% of the population.

 

Becca will have to travel 5 days a week for 6 weeks to receive localized radiation from a specialist at Johns Hopkins/Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. With gas prices at an all-time high and hotel costs being around $150-200 per night (near the hospital with a patient rate) this journey will be expensive. Currently, my sister's family, a family of six, will attempt to absorb these extra expenses which will add up as she travels 5 days a week for 6 weeks to and from Johns Hopkins.

 

I ask that you help in any way you possibly can. If you can not spare even five dollars towards her journey, I ask that you please pray for my sister and her family as they navigate thru this extremely difficult time. This will be a long journey filled with medical, gas, and hotel expenses but my sister is strong and will fight!
