Sarah Ahlfeld (Mcdugal) is an abuse recovery coach, who ministers to members of the faith community who are recovering from toxic relationships.  Sarah is a new bride, recently married to a wonderful and caring man, Shawn Ahlfeld, after healing from an abusive marriage. She is a mama to their four children, two of whom are special needs and on the autism spectrum.

Recently, Sarah was diagnosed with lymphoma in her bone marrow.  Testing also revealed that she has a 19 cm tumor.

Sarah has health insurance, but even with insurance, her medical bills and travel expenses are estimated to be around $100,000. She just had a $12K PET scan, of which her part was $3,600. Other tests she has already received include five MRIs, CT scans, biopsy, x-rays, mammogram, ultrasounds, plus treatment medicines, provider fees, and pathology studies. She will be applying for financial assistance from Vanderbilt, and cancer grants. Praying that she will get some aid, we are setting our gofundme goal at $50K. Right now, it's our great desire to support Sarah, just as she has supported so many others during their own difficult journeys.  Let's make finances the last thing she and her family need to worry about during the long road ahead.
