Hi my name is Kimberly, and I’m a close family friend of the Keturakis family. I’m starting this fundraiser to help cut the costs for their daughter Payton.
On May 29, 2021 Payton Keturakis started to have chest pains. These chest pains then turned into something far worse. Miss Payton could no longer walk and had no feelings in her legs. She was soon taken to the hospital to be examined by a doctor but all they could tell her mom was “Nothing is wrong. Just give her some Tylenol and Advil.” June 8th slowly rolls around and Payton’s symptoms have gotten worse. Payton is now in extreme pain when trying todo any little task around the family home. She also started to lose feeling in her arms. Once again after being taken into be examined by a doctor nothing was done or taken into consideration.
Since the start of all these underlying health conditions for Miss Payton, a now 10 year old girl, her parents have been doing everything the can to find answers. All they want for their little girl is for her to be active with friends, laughing and having fun! They have taken her to many different doctors, pediatricians and naturopaths. One naturopath they seen suggested a screening for Lyme disease. When that screening came back that’s exactly what popped up in bright bold red letters.
I’m doing this Fundraiser on behalf of the family to help cut down the cost for any testing, travelling and other medical expenses they may come by for their oldest daughter Payton.
