Medical Funds for Patrick and Kim Logan

On March 20, 2019 our lives changed forever.  The rock of our family, the one who keeps me from going over the edge, my sweetheart, had a massive stroke which caused a brain bleed.  We were at choir practice and he sudden started throwing up and his speech begin to slur.  It was a moment I will never forget as I saw my whole world crumble.  

He had to be put on a ventilator and a feeding tube inserted in his nose.  The doctors were not sure if he would make it or not.  He was in ICU for several days and eventually moved to inpatient rehab at Kennestone Hospital.  The language center of his brain and right side of his body have been impacted.  It is very difficult for him to retrieve words he wants to speak and then speak them.  He has very little endurance at this time.

Unfortunately, we are going to have many expenses as a result.  Patrick is going to be coming home soon.  He will require 24/7 care with months of OT, PT, and Speech.  He will also require many medications including insulin and the diabetic supplies that go with that disease. I am not sure exactly what all will need to be done in order to accommodate our new normal.
