Medical Funds for Billy and Eva Morgan

Donation protected

The week of August 16, 2021 was one that will forever be branded on the Morgan Family. Monday of that week, Billy was found unconscious in the middle of his sons driveway. After being rushed to the ER, he was in and out of consciousness for the next several hours. Ultimately, doctors thought he needed to see a cardiologist and found he had 50% blockage in his arteries that restricted oxygen to his brain. After they were home, throughout that first week, everyone in their household started to show signs and symptoms as well. By the end of the week, 3 out of 7 family members had to be taken to the ER, Eva having to go twice. The entire family was affected by week two.

For the most part, all members of their family were able to recover. Billy is still slowly recovering at home, and has days that are tougher than others. Because he still needs a stint, his oxygen dips anytime he over-exerts himself, leaving him unable to work.

Eva has been given the longest road out of all the Morgans. Despite seeking help at the ER in Andrews, she was turned away since she was not considered critical. The family disagreed with that decision and took Eva to Seminole where she was immediately admitted. While in the hospital, Eva had been struggling with her oxygen levels leaving the doctors contemplating whether or not a ventilator was needed. She was able to alternate between room oxygen and a bipap machine, which forces oxygen into the lungs, but still her levels sometimes dipped into the low 70s. By a miracle of God, an ICU room became available in Sweetwater and the family knew they had to take it.

She has been in the Sweetwater ICU since Thursday, Sept. 2nd and was tested again for COVID. 17 days after her initial COVID test, and it too came back positive.

Eva will remain in the Sweetwater hospital in the ICU unit until she can get a negative test result and then will be moved to a regular room out of isolation.

The Morgan family needs your help with their current and unforeseen medical bills that will be collected throughout this journey. We are asking that you donate anything you can to take away the financial burden COVID has caused and if you are unable to give, more so, we ask that you pray for this family during this time.

Billy and Eva are two of the most selfless individuals - always striving to make everyone else comfortable and happy. They never think twice to help their friends and family or even strangers! For our family, the Morgans have always been the rock we center around...if it were not for them, I don't think we would have Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, or even birthday celebrations like families should. Both of them have stepped in as more than just an aunt and uncle - they have filled the role of mom and dad when we need it, as therapist, as a shoulder to cry on, as a safe place for us to run, and most often....our entertainment!!! If you have the privilege of knowing Eva and Billy, you know exactly what I am talking about. We have said it time and time again, everyone needs a Aunt Eva and Uncle Billy in their lives. Their presence is unmatched. Thank you everyone and stay safe!
