Medical Fundraiser for Rick Martin

Hello friends and family. As some of you may already know a dear person I consider family, Rick Martin, has suffered a heart attack this past Tuesday May 12th. By the grace of God he was able to contact 911 in time to have his life saved at Baystate Medical Center. After going through a risky heart procedure he will now have to get use to a new baseline and will be needing to heal up for 3 months with heart therapy appointments, cardiology, and physical therapy. All who know Rick knows he is stubborn enough to downplay such a severe event, however while he puts on a happy face it is clear any conversation longer than a minute exhausts him and he’s needing to rest. I have known Rick as a key family member for 9 years and was one of our amazing nurses and caregivers to my grandmother for many years as well. He is well loved by a family that needs him. His selfless acts of kindness and love I have seen over the years makes this man an even better person. He’s the first to help someone out and one of the first to always help another on go fund me pages. There will certainly be uninsured expenses when he is released from the hospital and he will be out of work for at least 3 months. This was created to relieve his financial burden allowing him to rest, heal, get the medical help and items needed, bills paid while out of work, and to assist in needing a whole new diet necessary for keeping the rest of his heart healthy! Please consider helping someone who would never ask for help but could certainly use it during this time of his life and certainly deserves it! Thank you!
