Every day, the classroom in the preschool at Westminster Christian Academy is filled with the joyful noise of a good morning song. Voices of the children are lifted to the heavens, led by Kim Mouton. Every day, her devotion to Jesus’ calling drives her to love each child with patience, kindness, and compassion. She has loved our precious 3 year old babies, 4 year old babies, and 5 year old babies for many years. She never let the pandemic determine just how much she would love her classroom babies, hugging them through tears and holding them in celebrating their hard work and accomplishments. In that same way, she would never let her own medical needs detour her from her calling. She was born with neurofibromatosis and she needs a series of surgeries to remove potentially cancerous tumors. After her surgeries for that, the doctors will schedule a full hysterectomy so that Ms Mouton can live a long, cancer-free life. 

Today, it’s time for her people- the ones who have been blessed by her in any way (and the ones who simply hold a special place in their hearts for teachers who sincerely spread The Good News to young hearts) to RISE UP and help the one who has led a life of service.
