Medical Fundraiser for Lee Vaughan

Hi everyone,

 

I am starting this fundraiser to assist my Dad (Wendell Mountain) in raising money for some lifelong friends of our family, Jill and Lee Vaughan. Lee was recently diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and is currently undergoing treatment. The treatment costs $12,000USD per month with a $5000USD co-pay (aka deductible). Jill and Lee receive some financial support through grants, but as you can imagine, it is a huge financial burden at an already stressful time. The goal is to ease some of that financial burden through fundraising.

 

Dad has already received so many kind donations, but we thought a formal fundraiser might help reach more people. 100% of funds raised will be transferred directly to Jill Vaughan.

 

On a personal note, Jill, Lee and their beautiful family hold a very special place in my heart. I have many happy memories of time spent on their farm in Northern New York. It is definitely a case of "to know them is to love them."
