Hi Friends and Family,
I hope all is well with you, especially in these trying times. I wanted to talk to you about one of my grandbabies, Candace Bustillo. She is 13 years old and attending FBLG as an incoming 7th-grade student. Candace is your typical teenager. She is outspoken, loves to play sports, and takes care of her siblings. She is mature beyond her years.
Last school year, she was in a cross country meet, and she collapsed. We all thought she was just dehydrated. Her mom took her to the doctor to ensure that everything was alright with her. The doctor scheduled her for a bunch of tests to see what caused her to collapse. On top of what she is going through, it didn't help that she has anxiety. So her tests were sent out to a heart doctor in Hawaii.
We recently got a phone call from the doctor about the test results. But unfortunately, the EKG on her reported that they couldn't see further into what was going on. The doctor informed us that one of her arteries isn't pumping enough blood. As a result, she has difficulty breathing and experiences chest pains.
I know that times are hard, and I humbly thank you all, family and friends, for help taking my girl to a heart specialist in Hawaii. Any donations and prayers are greatly appreciated.
Thank you all so much!
