MEDICAL FUNDRAISER FOR AMANDA SHAFFER

Hafa Adai family/friends,

My name is Nathan Concepcion and I am Amanda's best friend of 20+ years. I am reaching out to all our friends and family in hope that some assistance may be given.

Those who know Amanda know that she is a very strong woman who fights to the finish. She is kind hearted and fills the room with laughter with her presence and personality. At this time, Amanda needs our help to fight her way through to the finish line.

At the beginning of the month, Amanda under went surgery due to severe abdominal pain and abnormal bleeding. The findings were something that she would never have expected. Amanda was diagnosed with "Endometrial Adenocarcinoma (Uterine Cancer). At 28 years old, this cancer is rare for someone her age. Because of her age, doc wants to preserve her reproductive system rather than perform a hysterectomy. To achieve this goal, Amanda would need to receive treatment off island with a gynecology oncologist.
