Danny Self is a dear friend and a kindred spirit, as we both share the ups and downs of living with Rhuematoid Arthritis. Unfortunately Danny has lost both of his legs from joint deterioration and infection. His wife Karen has become a special friend to me, she is overwhelmed with hurt for her husband and caregiver burnout. Danny is about to undergo his 9th surgery to once again remove more of his leg, this time above the knee! They are drowning in medical bills!!
