Thanks for visiting! Wesley Benton - loved by all as a friend, brother, uncle, husband, father or grandfather - is in need of love and support. Wesley is one of the most caring, family-oriented people you will ever meet. With his easy smile and teasing sense of humor he makes everyone feel at home. Everything he has he eagerly shares and no favor is too big. Everyone can recall a time with Wesley that is full of happiness, fun, and celebration (and probably homemade deer jerky and moonshine). Sadly, last month Wesley was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma and it is spreading rapidly. Despite his incredible optimism and fighting spirit, he is already being placed in hospice care - just one month after his diagnosis. He is dealing with great pain and the family is coping with enormous emotional stress. Prior to his diagnosis, Wesley had just been granted full time status at a new job. Being a new employee resulted in only 4 days of short term disability. With no current income and the high cost of cancer treatment, the stress continues to mount. Wesley, having never uttered a complaint throughout his 58 years, remains positive and optimistic. Though Wesley will never complain or ask for anything, we all know someone who has suffered with cancer and we know the financial toll it can take. Please help us relieve the Benton’s financial burden so they can focus on what is important at this difficult time.
