This beautiful little boy and his family found out this week their precious boy has cancer .
Kai was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, probable Burkitt’s, stage 2 on June 28th after having surgery for intussusception on June 25th. He will be starting chemo next week and will have to have at least 2 rounds at Rady Children’s, with the possibility of one more. His prognosis is pretty good, but the cancer is aggressive and the treatment can be brutal on the patient. He is a strong willed 5 year old and we are praying every day. At the end  his family Is planning on taking an “I beat cancer” trip to somewhere.  We are never prepared for times like this and hope to raise some money where his parents can be by his side every minute of his treatment . Becky has  been such a  wonderful friend and nurse to so many people in her lifetime that I insisted to put something together in hopes of reaching out to people who want to help Kai anyway they can .
