Medical Fund for Robert McMillan

How do I start to tell you about a man like Robert McMillan,  "Bob".  He is the kindest most gentle caring person I have ever known.  He has always loved life and truly cherrised music and inspiring the lives of his students throughout his long career.  As a High School Music Teacher and Choir Director at Fairborn City Schools, he inspired the lives and love of music in hundreds if not thousands of students.  He is also a deeply religious man who's career as a Church Organist and Choir Director spanned more than 65 years.  As a person in general he touched and inspired so many lives.

About 10 years ago Bob was diagnosed with a Mild Cognitave Impairment (MCII) which we were dealing well with through medication and the help of a wonderful doctor. However, Bob started having difficulty with his balance.  He fell a few times with no serious injury.  That all changed dramatically in a few short months and he had 3 falls.  Each of them increased in severity.  The last one resulted in his fracturing 3 vertebrae and sustaining a spinal cord injuury. This resulted in a 1 month stay in the hospital followed by 3 month stay in rehab.  This turned his MCI into Alzheimers and left him with very limited ability to stand and walk.  His need for continued rehab and medical treatment for Alzheimers has increased dramatically.  He urgently needs to continue physical rehab and additional medical treatment for his cognitive issues.  He needs to maintain his meds, have an aide and physical therapy treatments more frequently to sustain some sort of a normal life.  The prognosis of a person sustaining an SPI is not good and I would love to be able to give him a normal life for as long as possible.   He has endoured so much this is the best I can hope for.  Any financial assistance you can share would be appreciated beyond any words I can share.
