Ra was diagnosed with breast cancer on 4/30, after the results of her biopsy from last week. She is in great spirits and will fight this diagnosis the best she can. She has always been my rock and my support through my own cancer diagnosis this past year and now we must overcome hers together.  In December of 2017, I had surgery to remove my thyroid and on the first procedure the surgeon did not remove it as was “worser than what he anticipated”, so to my disappointment. I had to be referred to UC Davis medical center in Sacramento, where I would need another surgery to remove it. The thyroid was finally removed on January 19, 2018. I am still going through treatments as well as I still have some affected lymph nodes. I am still paying on my medical bills and with my wife’s upcoming treatments and surgeries for her we will be even more in a hole financially. She took time off of work to go to all my medical appointments and I would like to do the same for her and be her support through this whole process. Please keep Ra in your prayers as we go through this journey of more unknowns and uncertainties.
