5 years ago Marla was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and fought a hard battle to beat it! 3 weeks ago we found out it was back in other places and found out yesterday it's in her organs! I met Marla around 15 years ago through playing softball on the same team as her. We continued to play on the same team even after she first found out about the breast cancer she continued to play when she could! I played left field and she was left center so we were always side by side! I knew if I couldn't get to the ball she was!!! This is very hard for me because my ball team isn't just a team it's my family. Marla is 34 and has a 11 year old daughter. She is a RN.
