Liam is 14 now. 

He has a bicuspid aortic valve defect with regurgitation.   Which increases aortic pressures to be severe.

Liam was born with this birth defect.  That has 
now caught up to him. His pressures are too
high for no intervention. He will be getting a catherization procedure and repair of his leaf of his valve..where the valve sits, and Liam was born
with a deformity.  Then he will be getting either a bioprosthetic valve or mechanical valve to
replace his own.

He will be at Boston Childrens Hospital for
2 weeks in April 2021.  Liam’s mom, Kathleen, will have to stay in the adjoining hotel and go back and forth which costs approximately $180-$279 a night,
out of pocket, until he is given a suite.  If there is even one available.

Kathleen was forced to give up her business
due to Covid-19.  In order to keep her
boys and herself safe and under the 
recommendation of Liams doctors, she closed
her daycare, after 14.5 years.  
Kathleen has been earning a little
bit to help make ends meet, with her crafting.
But she is pretty much starting over again.   All
donations will go directly towards expenses for the weeks of Liam’s surgery and recovery.
