Health is everything ! Just recently our family had to change course. As a family we have lived in Macau for 15 years and now suddenly Dahlia our youngest daughter has a medical issue which cannot be resolved in Asia. A donation for organ is very uncommon in Macau, and would require years of ongoing dialysis. For that reason we have relocated back to our home in Vancouver, Canada in hopes of finding a donor. We need to settle in a second rental home and furnish the home comfortable as most of our belongings are in Macau. Dahlia will undergo tests and observation in BC children’s hospital, and then require a complete transplant. This is usually a health care provision in Canada although all other uncovered health care can be expensive. Our family will be separated for the time being, and expenses will be high. If I can work in Canada I will try, although my main priority is to focus on her. It is a long road ahead but our goal is clear. We are the Thomas’ and we will find the strength to overcome this. We only hope our friends and family all over the world will help with our challenge ahead. Dahlia has always been a very simple girl. She has not asked for much in her life. All she needs is the support of her loved ones to help her get through this life changing circumstance. Please pray for her, guide her to the acceptance of organ transplant. We miss you all! Take care always.
