Everyone, our friend Hannah Carlos needs help!
After months of living in excruciating pain and seeking extensive medical help to provide answers, Hannah’s doctors believe they are suffering from Long Haul COVID. Hannah’s symptoms, among several others, include musculoskeletal dysfunction, atypical facial neuralgia, daily persistent migraines, arthritis, extreme fatigue, and, when not careful, fainting. Currently, the disability line for acceptance of Post COVID-19 Syndrome as the cause for hindrances in daily tasks is quite long. New data and statistics show nearly seven million Americans suffer from Long Haul COVID-19 disabilities and yet the average waiting period, from application to acceptance, is one year.
If you know ‘coach Carlos’, you know they are one of the hardest working humans on this planet, and working outdoors in nature is their passion. Hannah was a botanist, studying rare plant and fungi ecosystems, in the Cascades. They went from hiking miles a day, in steep country, to becoming incapable of taking care of their most basic needs.
Hannah has worked tirelessly to get answers through meeting various specialists, aiding in capturing images of their spine and brain, personal, extensive research, physical therapy and acupuncture visits. The time away from work has left them financially unstable. If you have the ability to help in any way, please contribute so we can get ‘coach’ the help they need and deserve.
